The Portege M750 Tablet PC Was Unveiled by Toshiba

The Portege M750 Tablet PC, featuring a 12.1-inch dual-input display and Intel Centrino 2 technology was unveiled by Toshiba. Toshiba says the Portege M750 detects the presence of a digital pen or a user's fingertip, automatically switching between the different input methods. The display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and LED backlight. The gadget comes with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, and a built-in optical drive.

There were released two M750 models - the M750-S7201 based on the Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz processor, and the M750-S7202 with the P8600 at 2.4GHz. Each of the systems is rigged with homonymous list of standard equipment: they are 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, DVD burner, embedded web camera, fingerprint reader, and TPM 1.2 chip, the Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100AGN (802.11a/g/n) wireless module, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet port, and 56K modem, as well as two USB ports, an additional USB/eSATA port with "Sleep and Charge" functionality, a PC Card slot, 7-in-1 media card reader, Firewire port, and VGA output.

Therefore it's not surprising that the Portege M750 weights 4.6 pounds. As far as Toshibais concerned the M750-S7201 and M750-S7202 manage to provide up to 4.63 hours of operation on a single charge with a standard 4700mAh battery. The Tablet PC is carried through Windows Vista Business operating system, at the same time Intel vPro Technology supports advanced management and security.

Well, it's high time to determine Toshiba's Portege M750-S7201 and M750-S7202 values, which incarnate at $1,699 and $1,799 respectively.
