Gateway's New Mantra Seems Rather Impressive

Gateway's new mantra seems rather impressive. The previous summer, the company pushed to market their offspring 16 inch MC Series with a new automotive-inspired construction unit then made a step to evaluate 15.4 MD Series, finally today they are almost ready to present the 14 inch TC Series.

Being estimated at $649.99, the TC Series is still oriented at mixed-media followers with its 16:9 aspect ratio wide screen, 14-inch 1366*768 resolution. You may find it in two possible color variations: black and burgundy, and operates a textured palm rest.

The very first two samples, the TC7307u in burgundy and the TC7306u in black are rigged with pretty equal combination of value-focused list of equipment of single order; they feature a 4GB of RAM and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M, 2.0GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core Mobile T4200 processor. New TC Notebook runs a 320GB hard drive and an 8x DVDRW w/ DVD-RAM drives. The TC7307u in burgundy and the TC7306u in black, each of them operates a 6-cell Lithium Ion battery and Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.

As for the press release, the actual weight reached 5.3-pounds. On the strength of the associated hardware are a 1.3 mega pixel webcam, quite similar touch multimedia controls found on the MD Series, 802.11b/g Draft-N wireless. The list can be enlarged by a 5-in-1 media card reader, Ethernet, a mic and headphone, 3 USB ports.

The TC doesn't have a Blu-ray option, like the MC and MD Series, but is capable of supporting one as well as dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphics.
