Eight ThinkPad Notebooks Got Through the "Tough Test"

As Lenovo has recently pointed out their eight ThinkPad notebooks got through the "Tough Test", meeting Military Specifications for semi-rugged computing.

The company officially announced that the ThinkPad X200, X301, X200s, X200 Tablet, T400, T500, R400 and SL300 laptops corresponds to a barrage of military specifications tests and PC makers has made a solid step in matters of durability and designed special features such as a roll cage in select models and an airbag-like protection system.

In course of detailed investigation the laptops were put to tests to check its moisture content, low voltage, vibrocompaction, chilling-heat shock, dust and high and low temperatures.

The ThinkPad T400 14.1-inch laptop is enough serious mechanism which was equipped with a new optional 680-nit high brightness display. Lenovo also contemplated LED backlight for the outdoors panel and it's necessary to say that the new version is at least four times brighter than previous ThinkPad netbook screens.
