Dell Is under Development of Their Hybrid Laptops

Dell is under development of their hybrid laptops, which will be equipped with both an ARM processor-based sub-system and Intel's traditional main notebook platform.

As you may follow from some notices the ARM low-voltage sub-CPU, combined with Linux OS, will manage to produce a "multi-day battery life" in Intel & Windows-powered Dell's Latitude E4200 and E4300 business ultraportables.

From the Inquirer point of view the utilizing of Linux in 'instant-on' mode for super quick access to e-mail, calendar, attachments, contacts and even the Interwibble on a super low-power ARM processor, whilst the system's main operating system would operate separately on an Intel Core2 Duo processor.
