A Netbook with a 12.1-inch Display and VIA's Nano Processor Samsung NC20

A netbook with a 12.1-inch display and VIA's Nano processor was released by Samsung not so long ago. Nevertheless, as distinguished from the most of disposable netbooks, based on the Intel Atom technology, the Samsung NC20 features the VX800 chipset with the Chrome 9 integrated graphics and the VIA Nano U2250 CPU (1.3GHz - 1.6GHz, 800MHz).

The gadget comes with a 6-cell battery, up to 160GB of hard drive space and1GB of DDR2 RAM. You will estimate that its widescreen display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a glossy coating, while its 'normal' notebook keyboard has full sized keys. Among integrated parts there are stereo speakers, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, a built-in 1.3MP web camera, three USB ports, a 3-in-1 media card reader and Ethernet LAN. Like most others the Samsung NC20 supports Windows XP Home operating system.

It's expected to start selling in the US by the end of March and will be available already for $480.
